In a new joint venture between GKRL and Newcastle University, the Health Innovation Neighbourhood strives to be a world-class example of multi-generational living and healthy ageing research.
A shared vision
With a focus on health, wealth and wellbeing, rooted in research and innovation, the project will combine multi-generational living with a 'living lab' concept, enabling researchers to access real-life data of the latest innovations in digital homes. Alongside residential, the scheme will incorporate academic buildings, medical facilities, retail and employment hubs.
