Genr8 Kajima Regeneration Ltd has been appointed as the development management partner to support Knowsley Council’s transformational development plans for Huyton.
The Council has ambitious plans for Huyton and is progressing it’s 10 year development plan which includes the creation of a commercial district (which will include the Council’s HQ, a hotel, commercial and residential accommodation), a village green and significant improvements to the high street and station gateway area. This provides the potential for approximately 1,700 jobs and a £50.8m boost to the local economy.
The appointment is a significant step forward for Huyton Village Centre and it will enable the Council to work collaboratively with an experienced Genr8 Kajima Regeneration Ltd team who bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge to support every step of the development and delivery process.
The Genr8 Kajima Regeneration Ltd partnership is a 50/50 JV between Kajima, the pan-European real estate developer, investor and asset manager and leading regeneration developer, Genr8.
