As part of the infrastructure project, a new 1.5km highway was delivered as well as complex flood infrastructure. Genr8 also delivered a new community nature reserve and green corridor to improve and protect biodiversity in the area in partnership with Calderdale Council and the Yorkshire Wildlife trust. The area boasts new wildlife including otters, kingfishers, and multiple species of butterfly which the local community can enjoy through new nature trails.
