Rochdale Riverside is a 200,000 sq ft retail & leisure destination anchored by a 50,000 sq ft M&S and 6-screen Reel cinema, which was delivered in April 2020.
Rochdale Town Centre is a long-term, multi-phased regeneration delivered by Genr8 and Kajima in partnership with Rochdale Council over more than a decade. The project has transformed one of Greater Manchester’s weakest performing town centres into a thriving mixed-use destination. The completed Rochdale Riverside phase delivered a new retail and leisure offer, high-quality public realm, improved transport infrastructure and a new town centre brand. The scheme has driven increased footfall, attracted major national operators and acted as a catalyst for further regeneration including residential and hotel development.
